Of course, Far Cry 5 has it's problems too, (God spawning planes every 40 seconds for one) but I think I probably enjoyed it more than Watch dogs 2. Though, calling the cops on people in watch dogs 2 and seeing them get arrested for nothing is pretty funny. If you're asking for overall better game, I think Far Cry 5 might be better.

FC6 is very like the other FC games just slightly better graphics. AC Odyssey and Origin are the best AC games in the series. Don’t buy Valhalla. You can buy FC5 or FC4 and Odyssey and you will experience both games. I heard AC Odyssey is good, a little repetitive is finde, if it's a little.

Far Cry 6 does more with these themes than some of its predecessors did with theirs, particularly Far Cry 5, but it never quite figures out how to tie them all together.

tl;dr: Both games have their merits. The combat in RAGE 2 is excellent and provides far more fun and satisfaction than any fights in Far Cry 5. That said, Far Cry 5 feels like it's just better put together in terms of story, progression, and miscellaneous open-world garbage. SemperSalam.
