Thismethod worked on my 03 audi a4 avant.1. Have all doors loc I disconnected the battery to the car & my key fob needed to be reset in order to work again.

Re Possible to disable immobilizer. The immob fault is probably a one off. If the starting problem is the immobiliser, the engine will start for 1 or 2 seconds and then stop. Re A4 B5 Immo Troubles its the ignition barrel , mines doing it. once the car is started turn the key back really slowly till it clicks slightly and all electrics should work fine :) won't stop the starting problem thats where the new barrel is needed (95 quid from audi)
